A fully qualified and official SEO consultant should advise people on all facets of their search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) campaign. Good marketing SEO consultants are indeed a rare breed and difficult to find.

A talented consultant can take the search traffic of your business to the next level. He should also be able to help you to understand the time and costs of your inherent SEO campaign.

Additional benefits having a professional SEO include: assisting with appropriate keywords that are commonly searched for in the Internet business, modifying currently owned websites for search engines, rectifying and adding title, meta and alt tags.

Some other facets of online business a good SEO consultant could help you with are pay-per-click campaigns, newsletter creation, web analytics, and list building.

The internet is full of thousands of different SEO consultants, and the honest truth is that most of them have no idea what they’re doing. In order to hire a good consultant, you will need to know how to ask the right questions.

Take a hard look at his qualifications. Ignore how long he’s been in business. More time in the industry doesn’t mean he will perform. You need to find out about projects that he’s consulted on to determine how well they’re doing.

Any consultant who’s running a good operation will be able to produce plenty of positive testimonials. If someone you’re considering can’t, you don’t want to consider handing him your money.

Before hiring a consultant, you should try to get a good idea of how you will be communication back and forth with him. If you don’t have email access or telephone access, it will be much more difficult for you to learn what you need to learn.

What type of ranking will be guaranteed? If the answer is anything but “none,” look elsewhere. Usually a firm will say that ranking is important, but keywords, traffic and steady increases are more important. Then keep asking questions, and get references.

Another good question to ask your prospective hire is what changes he would make to your website. Since your site structure may be complicated, this can help you to determine his knowledge with structure and content.

If you believe you have found a good SEO consultant then press forward to carry out the optimization process. If you are in doubt do not take the risk, most likely you will not receive additional traffic just additional expenses. Take the time and resources you need.

Having a Video blog or Vlog have a lot of advantages over text-based blogs, and there really is no wonder that more and more individuals are moving to this technology. Video blogs are very effective in grabbing and holding the attention of web surfers. People are much more likely to become attracted to the dynamic content of a video blog over that of an ordinary written posting on a the typical blog.

The more people you can get coming to you site and keep them coming back, the better chance you’ll have the best form of advertising, word of mouth, take place. This will ultimately then bring in more traffic to your site and of course, more money in your wallet if you’re monetizing your site, which you should be doing!

Now, there can also be some disadvantages to video blogging. However, these are easily overcome. Hosting can be a problem and can require quite a bit of server space, which can make it difficult to get started. That’s only if you decide to do the hosting yourself. The great way to host for free is to use a service like YouTube, Google Video or Viddler. Then just take the embed code and copy and paste it up on your site. Let the big boys handle the bandwidth issues and costs for you.

If you don’t want to use those services and want more control, use a service like Amazon’s storage service called S3. They charge per GB used when you upload and then for bandwidth. The cost is about .10/GB to upload and then .17/GB for bandwidth usage. This is such a small cost for complete control.

Another difference is the time it takes to process and upload a video file rather than just writing a fast text article on a regular blog. Running and updating a video blog can mean a little more work, especially if you’re not that familiar with filming and then editing your video.

The fact of the matter is that after you get accustom to using video, it really is fairly easy. The most difficult part for most is just going through with the filming process.

Some also get frustrated with computers and slow connections, which will cause some individuals to get sick and tired of uploading or playback issues from time to time.

Most people have a fast connect an updated software to handle videos, but keep in mind the market that you are sending to your blog. If they are older folks who don’t know much about the internet still, a video blog might not be the best choice. Just keep your market in mind before you decide.

Whether you choose a video blog or traditional or a combination of both, like myself, just continue to offer your people quality content that will be helpful to them. Be yourself and have fun!

Producing your own videos for your online marketing efforts can benefit your company in many ways. There are many things you should consider when you produce videos on your own. Many of the things you should consider when making your own video marketing is the type, the person, shooting, editing, marketing, and the planning.

Shooting your own ad for video marketing purposes is primarily supposed to increase website traffic. In order to be successful with this endeavor you must consider many things. Here are a few tips that can help you with the success of producing your own video ads.

1. They type of video you will produce is important to consider. There is a high interest in videos on the Internet so your options are basically unlimited. Many people are attracted to instructional videos. You might want a video that is similar to a commercial for your video ad marketing campaign. The important thing is to be sure the video doesn’t look amateurish like it was shot out of a garage or in your home.

2. Are you going to have a person do your video marketing for you? Some videos are slides with a voice overlay. Some people like to talk in the video and be the primary ‘face’ of the company. Be sure the ‘face’ you choose is friendly and a face that will be attractive to the customers.

3. You will also need to shoot the video with the right camera equipment. When you are creating an ad to increase website traffic you don’t want to shoot the video through a camera on a cell phone. Be sure to rent the appropriate equipment if you don’t already own it.

4. Editing is another important factor with video marketing. There are editing tools to help you edit your video properly so it looks professional. Again, without the right tools the video will not be high quality and can turn users away rather than be a successful video ad marketing campaign.

5. Marketing the video when it has been loaded to your site is very important. You should design a site that sells your video. If the video is free be sure to gain revenues through other types of marketing efforts like pay-per-click advertising, banner ads and more.

6. The planning process of your video marketing techniques is very important. It is important to know exactly how you are going to produce your videos before you get started. You might want to make a list of everything you want to cover. This should include the location, people involved, how long the video will be, the message, and more.

There are many things you should know when you want to produce your own videos for a video marketing solution for your online business. You will be more successful by using this technique if you plan it right by using these simple tips above. The things to consider include the type of video, people, shooting, editing, and marketing.

There are lots of different issues relating to how to make your PPC ad campaign work for you. Picking the right keywords, bidding for them, and making sure your ads are effective are all important. However, one of the things we often forget to pay attention to is the actual ad. Since this is the point of contact between your campaign and the customers you’d like to target, forgetting about it is a big mistake!

It takes just three lines of text to make a person click, but if the ad’s copy doesn’t work the rest of your campaign won’t have a chance. Be noticed and empower the customer to click on the ad. Often people get too far ahead of themselves and put all their efforts into making the sale, but you need to start with the customer clicking on the ad before you can make that all-important sale.

Conventional marketing does well using long copy, and framing the product in a story. Unfortunately, this method doesn’t work when all you have to use is three lines. You’ll have to attract attention and get a click with very few words indeed. That means that all of them have to be good ones. If you want to make your PPC campaign work, one of the most important things is understanding how to make those lines do their job. Go from writing sales novels to ad haiku!

There’s an 80/20 rule that applies for this. The majority of an ad’s impact is in the headline – which makes up about 20% of the ad itself. This is true in many other forms of writing and it’s very much true in pay per click advertising. So make it good, because there’s nothing worse than a bad headline.

Your ad’s copy has to be perfect, or as close to it as possible. You have a few available words to sell your site, so the words you use must be the right ones, and spelling and punctuation are very important. A wrong word or a spelling mistake can mean you’re kissing customers good bye- and your money, too! Even if it doesn’t seem like a big deal to you, the finished product looks unprofessional, and people who would have normally clicked on that ad will avoid it.

Make sure you get the customer’s attention. Remember, you’re competing against other ads here, so maybe do some research and see what the others are doing. Standing out in a crowd can be difficult, but when you do everyone notices you. Concentrate on that headline and grab the customer’s attention, then make them need to know what’s on offer when they click.

Keyword placement is important, too. Use your keyword phrase (or a variant of it that makes sense as a sentence) in the headline itself. Then, make sure your next line is relevant and eye-catching. Don’t use meaningless phrases such as “quality service” or tell the customer how long you’ve been in business. Even if you offer great products and services, viewers need something that will make you stand out from the rest.

The last line is important, too. So use it to tell the customer why your product is the best, or give them an offer they can’t refuse like a special. This really does increase the chances of an eventual sale. Don’t use deceptive wording, it might get you more clicks, but you’ve little chance of converting the click to a sale.

While the ads are shorter, PPC campaigns aren’t any easier to write than other types of advertising. Make sure that yours are attention getting, clear, and effective – you’ll stand out from the rest and increase your sales.

Have you ever thought of using the eBooks you’ve created for more than just revenue stream? With a little creativity you can use your eBooks to generate you multiple streams of income

One strategy of how you can do this is selling advertising space within the eBooks that you are developing.

Here is an example. You have created an eBook on how to plan a wedding on a budget. This is a multi-billion dollar industry that you are now tapping into. Do you think that some of the companies that sell products and services within this industry would be interested in having the ability to get in front of people who have just purchased a product that that particular topic?

It may seem like an obvious question to ask, but you all should ask yourself what businesses would be interested in getting in front of the audience I will be attracting? This is one of those creative questions that you should all be asking yourself regularly.

So let’s repeat it. What other businesses would be interested in getting in front of the target audience for which I would be attracting?

Once you start asking yourself this question all different businesses will come to mind. You may think of some of your competitors. You will also start to think of complimentary businesses who will want to provide their services and products to the particular market you’re marketing to by purchasing ad space in your eBook.

It is up to you how you put together you eBook with the ads. They could be scattered throughout, all together at the beginning or at the end. It doesn’t matter how you lay them out, it just provides you a method of generating revenue by selling advertising.

You could create eBooks to add value to your current customers. Here’s a good example. I have a great list. I do not have a big email list. I have a great relationship with the people on my email list.

Compiling an eBook for my list is one way that I can add value to my customers. It can range from answering some of their more desired questions, summarizing tools I use or giving a step by step procedure.

I’m constantly trying to find win-win strategies to add value to you and vice versa, so that we can build a great relationship together.

Keep your eyes out for what your target market are wanting to know, or what business questions they may have. All you have to do then is develop an eBook outlining the procedure, give more information or answer they questions to solve that particular issue and they will see it as you providing great valuable information. This is something you should be constantly thinking about how you can boost your current relationships with your customers and an eBook is a great way to do this and selling advertising within it benefits you as well.

Going into any business with that mindset about your customers and throw in a little creativity, all different opportunities for more profit will emerge!

By exploring your creativity ideas will come to you when you need them the most!

Well its almost official, the autumn days of October are a heartbeat away. We’re glad we didn’t put away all those shorts and t-shirts just yet. We go camping this time of year and we always find we need those clothes on those Indian summer days. There’s nothing like being on a trip hanging out baking in your clothes when it’s in the seventies.

It’s nice to be able to get away during the week for a night or two, and avoid the busy weekends. Our internet business allows us to work at home, and now we can finally do what we want when we want. Not have to hurry Friday after work to pack the car, then try and get a good campsite before it fills up for the weekend rush.

We are very inspired by this business because it gives us the security to enjoy this kind of freedom. Having control of doing what you want when you want, keeps us in spirit. It’s like unlocking the magnetic law of attraction. Once Deb and I realized our fears were holding us back, we decided to leave that insanity behind and started to create a better future.

We learned real quick there was no one more responsible for creating success in our life, than our very own selves. Just get rid of all those notions that a job was the most important thing that would bring us happiness in life. We put all things aside that were locking us in our personal prison. We were not going to have those past perceptions have their way anymore.

You can create your own reality we were finding out, in no time at all, but only because we kept pushing away any of the old notions about living. The law of attraction was showing up more and more, just like it does for all those others that are dripping with success. We held on to that connection, and it brought us to the most amazing opportunity that really had it together.

This was a affiliate business we could start part time working at home using the internet. We are grateful to have the chance to be a part of a group that have learned to use their minds to create what it is they really want out of their lives. They do not allow any thoughts of failure to get in their way. We had live training with the best minds on the web, at home on the internet.

One of the problems that can slow you down from bringing your goals to life, are your thoughts. Being aware of your feelings will clue you in that your thoughts are not aligning with what it is you really want. You want that magnetic law of attraction to work for you, and keep moving forward. If you get on a roll about something going wrong, other things tend to go wring as well. Things will come to pass, but only if you let them. Go out and have some fun.

We keep this in mind all the time now, we don’t want any negative thoughts to take us away from succeeding in our internet business. When an unexpected chore or things start happening that needs our attention, it’s easy to loose that positive focus and then, that magnetic energy can easily start to loose its edge as well. Being aware of this is the secret to anyone’s success.

Have you ever thought about using your eBook to cross-promote it as a free bonus with your competitor’s products? This is one great reason why you should be creating eBooks.

I know some of you are thinking, ‘What?’ That’s exactly what I mean. I’m saying approach maybe your competitors who are out selling competitive products to you and say, “Hey, would you be interested in adding to your current package?”

You are giving them a very easy way to add value to their existing products or packages, which is something people are always interested in doing for their customers.

What is in it for you? Cross-promotion of your products and services.

Think about how simple this is. Within your eBook you can talk about your own products and services, which will help you gain customers right?

Now, you don’t want to make your eBook one big sales pitch for one of your products or it is unlikely that your competition will bundle it with their own package and people won’t take you seriously.

Integrating cross promotion into your eBook without making it come off too dominant is one of the strategies I teach people when going through the mechanics of creating your very first eBook. You want to make sure you are not making it sound like one big sales pitch, yet you can still have the benefits of informing them about your products and services. This is something you should be constantly thinking about.

Your primary focus should always be providing quality information. This is a sales tactic by itself because when people learn from you, they will learn to trust and like you as well. Throwing in a few links and information about your products doesn’t hurt either!

This is something you need to be thinking about all the time. Ask yourself how you can give your competitors your eBook, which will hit the same target market that you work within. You will be giving their costumers valuable information, but will be generating leads yourself through the information about yourself and products within the eBook.

When you are creating your eBook, really try to brainstorm other methods on how you can use it. This one strategy of cross-promotion is just one of many.

By exploring your creativity ideas will come to you when you need them the most!
