Following-up can be an acquired or innate skill that comes naturally to some and for others is a skill that takes time to develop over the course of their career. The Importance of follow-up in your business is huge because this is where the application of your skills and your ability to deliver the product/service become evident.

Following-up with your leads and matching their interest level with the information they desire and being a friendly face and a place of knowledge and leadership in your niche will pay-off over time as people will come to you when their need arises for your product/service. Starting to build an internet marketing promotion enterprise can be as simple as ABC and very lucrative. In fact when it comes to the marketing side of the business, there are only three key elements that are required.

1. Drive traffic to your site or preferably blog. You have multiple choices here and please don’t be sucked in like so many others by unscrupulous people simply trying to sell you their e-book etc.

2. Make sure the leads are qualified for your offer.

3. Follow through with the leads generated. You most likely have heard ‘the fortune is in the follow up’.

When it comes to succeeding to what ever level you want to in your internet marketing promotion business by following these three marketing steps you will get there. In fact because they are that important to your marketing success, I am going to devote a separate article to each of the three steps. Lets begin with step one which is driving traffic to your blog.

Great. So I am assuming you have a blog set up? Thinking of the “perfect” system for getting traffic to your blog, what do you believe it must have?

3. A powerful and effective way that automatically follows up with these people with your valuable information about your product or service.

4. Been able to use the right mixture of high tech and high touch that builds that all important know, like and trust with those on your list.

5. Will give you a predictable result if you follow the system. Just like McDonalds does. We both know McDonalds have lousy burgers but their global success is built on the predicable and duplicatable system.

The best system that I have found that has those five key components is article writing. By writing articles that demonstrate your knowledge and ability to solve problems and including a free offer at the end of your article and getting it published, you’ll find prospects contacting you without spending money on advertising.

Articles on your blog or other websites and blogs act like permanent links generate continuous traffic as long as they stay on that location. Which is quite opposite to most others forms of marketing and advertising which stops generating leads as soon as you stop paying or been active.

If you opt to outsource your article writing projects, always request to see sample articles first. This allows you to gauge the writing of the professional in question. Do they meet or exceed your expectations? Before processing payment, always check for uniqueness. Never play for work that was simply just copied from another website.
