These two basic affiliate marketing secrets will help you enormously (if followed) in your affiliate business. Although these are being mentioned under an affiliate heading, you can apply them to just about anything you do.
First basic affiliate marketing secret: TAKE ACTION. Stop hoping that having a magic product will solve your indecision. In business there is no magic, only knowledge and perseverance. You will get knowledge mostly by doing things and trying a lot.
Another point to make is that of course, there’s a lot of theory, and you need that when it comes to affiliate marketing, too. However, you need practical application and information as much as you need theory. You need to be able to, again, take action.
It’s been said that sometimes, high school students have actually committed suicide in various parts of the world where a lot is taught, but there’s not much given on application. That doesn’t have to be you.
By doing, trying and experimenting you will create your own knowledge and that is gold.
I will give an example: many years ago I decided to go and live in a deep forest for one month and see what will happen to me. I learned on my skin that it is very hard to survive if you are alone. This, of course, is an accepted and well known fact, but the difference is that I`ve learned it by trying it. And this changed me more than all the schools.
Simply put, of course you need to learn, but you also need to take action with what you’ve learned. And sometimes, you need to take action in order TO learn. If you have a good balance of both, you’ll learn what you need to know to become a successful marketer.
Second basic affiliate marketing secret: STAY POSITIVE. You will experience many bad moments and frustrations. Don`t quit. Every successful marketer went through this. Just don`t give it up and insist. Life is not an easy thing. Only lions survive, and they have hard times, too.
Therefore, when you encounter problems, don’t make excuses or give up. Instead, find solutions. In general, you’re not going to have to “make up a solution,” because there’s already one out there. All you have to do is look for it. (There’s a saying that a problem is only a problem if there is a solution to it. Without solutions, there are no problems to begin with. This is true of affiliate marketing, too.)
Make this instead: when facing a problem, mentally create another problem of comparable magnitude. And then another one and another one. Just continue to create problems till the original (real) problem vanish as a problem. At the end you should feel also a great relief and your capability in this area will be restored.
